If the Bishops Won't Do It

A reader just sent me the following e-mail:

Dear Deal,

On Pelosi

If these "Catholic" politicians keep persisting in walking up the communion aisle, why can't the communicants in their seats stand up and stop them by merely standing in their way much like that young man in Tiannamen Square before the tanks?

Nancy Pelosi and Company have run over innocent life long enough.

If I ever encounter her in the communion line I will stand in front of her and prevent her from continuing down the line.

If she and her ilk run me down, I consider it an honor to be martyred alongside all other innocent, aborted victims.

I invite all other Catholics in good standing to fight the battle in the trenches with me. Surround pro-abort Catholics in the communion line.

Justice demands an accounting. It's right and high time to demand that bishops speak truth to power.

I'm standing up for life!

Do bishops want to censure us before they censure these politicians?

Run along now and inform Nanny P. and her protection team. While you're at it though, be sure to remind her during strategy sessions that the descendants of the Founder of Christianity have a 2000 year history of martyrdom and we are not afraid of her or her protection team. We may not be around to see whose protection team has the ultimate victory - but, call this a hunch - it's religious, it's right and it wins.

It's amusing really, for you to threaten that Pelosi will do us harm if we continue to teach about the sanctity of life in the face of her heresey. We have survived Herod, Pilate, Nero, Hitler, the Klu Klux Klan, to name a handful.

I'll be faxing Bishop Weurl the thread and ask him if giving the flock over to Pelosi and her terrorists was his "pastoral" plan.

If we had to rely on the martydom of Bishop to protect the deposit of faith for over 2000 years - we would have been sunk years ago.

But yet George W. Bush and his murderous agenda was somehow seen as "Catholic" in 04? I am sure there are plently of good Catholics who will escort Speaker Pelosi down the aisle for communion.

In the meantime - I am sure her protection team will be interested in this post and email.
